In this case, you must pick up your ticket at least 30 minutes before the departure time. If for some reason, you won’tgo on your trip let the company know as soon as possible. Ticket prices are not defined by the company itself but they are determined according to the decision of the Minister of transportations (tickets are priced).

 

In case you pay a ticket and you finally won’t go onthe trip, the company gives the passenger a refund of 70% of the ticket price (when the cancellation concerns a seat on one of the buses to rural areas and it is done at least 8 hours before the departure time) or a refund of 50% in case of a reservation cancellation within 8 hours before departure time. If you don't come at the station before the departure time, you may not require a refund afterwards. However, the Board of Directors of our company, upon your request, for social reasons and having good faith may refund you partially. This only refers to the company "KTEL HERAKLION-LASITHI S.A." and no other transportation companies, which may apply a different policy.

You can't have your animals, except for the handicaps’ escort animals or small pets, which are transferred by the appropriate means of transport in accordance with the driver’s judgement, who is appropriately trained for this purpose. Trust the driver!

 

Because in very rare cases there is the possibility of "misunderstandings", loss or theft of your luggage, we recommend that you have on your luggage, on a clear point a sticker with your name on and a contact telephone number, preferably a mobile number. You can gain for free special name tags from the ticket offices of the company “KTEL HERAKLION – LASITHI SA” so that you can use them on your luggage.

 

Don't leave valuable things in suitcases and bags that are placed in the luggage compartment of the bus. The "KTEL HERAKLION-LASITHI SA." undertakes the carriage of unaccompanied packages and parcels, as well as accompanied hand baggage up to the amount of 100 euros and therefore is liable for damages only up to the amount of 100 euros, in the event of a loss or damage for any reason. In case you transfer or send things of greater value, let our staff know so that they won’t undertake their carriage, otherwise the things are transferred at your own risk and responsibility.
 

Comply with all the necessary instructions of the company’s staff concerning where you can leave your luggage. You are not allowed to have any piece of luggage on your seat, because of comfort as well as safety reasons.
